State Prosecutor to bring amended indictment in Zeevi-Bezeq affair

The court dismissed claims by defendants Gad Zeevi, Mikhail Chernoy, Zeev Rom and Michael Komissar.

The State Prosecutor will indict the defendants in the Zeevi-Bezeq (TASE:BZEQ) case, after the court dismissed the defendants' claims in a hearing. All the defendants were present at the hearing: Gad Zeevi, Mikhail (Misha) Chernoy, Zeev Rom, and Adv. Michael Komissar.

The indictment claims that Zeevi fraudulently won the state's approval for the acquisition of 20% of Bezeq. Zeevi did not disclose that he had obtained financing for the deal from Chernoy, or that his loan agreement with Chernoy included an option for Chernoy to become a partner. In other words, it was a partnership agreement.

Rom, Chernoy's representative, and Komissar, who represented Zeevi in the agreement with Chernoy, are accused of abetting the concealment.
