Kadima chairwoman Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni, Labor Party chairman Minister of Defense Ehud Barak, and opposition leader Likud chairman MK Benjamin Netanyahu will all attend the closing plenum of the "Globes" 2008 Israel Business Conference next week. The three prime ministerial candidates will participate in the plenum meeting, "Government's role in an economic crisis".

The annual "Globes" 2008 Business Conference is the top business event in Israel. This year's conference is being held against the backdrop of the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. Participants at the conference, which will be held on December 14-15, will include Israel's business leaders and guests from around the world.
