British daily "The Guardian" will publish The Guardian/ Cleantech Group LLC CleanTech 100 list for 2009 tomorrow. Four Israeli companies made the list: solar energy systems manufacturer Solel Solar Systems Ltd., Shay Agassi's electric car venture Better Place, sewage treatment solutions developer Aqwise Ltd., and wind turbine gearbox manufacturer IQwind Ltd.
IQwind recently signed a deal with Spain's Guascor Group SA to jointly commercialize and bring to market IQwind's IQGear high efficiency variable gearbox for wind turbines.
