Data storage co Sanrad raises $3m

The Zisapel brothers company has raised $29.3 million to date.

RAD Data Communications Ltd. subsidiary Sanrad Ltd. has raised $3 million in its fourth financing round from its current investors, the Rad Group, owned by Yehuda and Zohar Zisapel; Sequoia Capital; and Foundation Capital.

According to IVC, Sanrad has raised $29.3 million to date, including $10 million in its previous financing round in June 2007. Run by CEO Oded Ilan, the company develops IP-based data management and storage solutions, which are aimed at optimizing disaster recovery programs (DRP). The Tel Aviv-based company has 24 employees.
