The unemployment rate has been falling since January.
The unemployment rate stayed at 5.4% in July 2011, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported today. The unemployment rate was 5.4% in June and 5.5% in May. It has fallen steadily from 6.1% in January.
In the second quarter, the unemployment rate reached 5.5%, its lowest level since the early 1980s.
