Intel appoints Mooly Eden as Israel manager

After nine years in the US, Mooly Eden is moving back to Israel to replace Intel Israel general manager Maxine Fassberg.

Intel Corporation (INTC) has appointed VP Mooly Eden as general manager of Intel Israel, as part of a reshuffle of Intel Corp.'s senior management. Eden will succeed Maxine Fassberg.

Intel said that Eden requested to return to Israel after nine years in the US. He will report to Intel chief product officer Dadi Perlmutter. While in the US, Eden led Intel’s mobile PC business before being promoted to run its PC Client Group, Intel’s largest product group, in 2009.

Perlmutter is taking up the post as chief product officer, and will be replaced as COO by Brian Krzanich. Eden is being succeeded as manager of the PC Client Group by the head of the company's VP data center business Kirk Skaugen.

Intel Israel employees are benefiting from the company's financial success; they will receive a bonus of three monthly salaries, the same as in 2010. Intel Israel said, "Employee bonuses are distributed every year, reflecting the company's success and profitability."
