Mobile app co Appoxee raises early stage funding

The company will use the capital to develop the next version of its mobile user relationship management suite, and for international sales and marketing efforts.

"TechCrunch" reports that mobile applications developer Appoxee Ltd. has raised an undisclosed amount from CyHawk Ventures, an Israeli early stage investment firm. The company also launched its commercial service.

The company, which was founded in 2010, is led by CEO Itay Levy. According to "TechCrunch" , the company's service helps applications developers and publishers increase user engagement through rich push notifications, helping with audience segmentation, targeting, analytics and reporting.

"TechCrunch" cites Appoxee as saying that it served “hundreds of developers” with the delivery of “hundreds of millions” of push notifications during its beta stage. It added that it would use the capital to develop the next version of its mobile user relationship management suite, and for international sales and marketing efforts.

Cyhawk was founded by Kfir Moytal and Assaf Ben Asher. It has invested in eight companies.
