Zibaba Ltd., which develops Facebook marketing and advertising apps for small and mid-sized businesses, plans to raise $3.5 million to expand the range of its solutions.
Zibaba, founded in 2008 by CEO Ronen Shlomo and CTO Arie Fishler, has until now offered a Facebook e-commerce platform, is now targeting companies which are listed in the Yellow Pages.
Shlomo says that Zibaba's solutions suit e-commerce solutions on Facebook, Twitter, and mobile devices. The company's solution creates customer interaction with the goal of becoming the industry standard for advertising and marketing by small and mid-sized businesses on social networks. He says that 42% of small and mid-sized businesses can win customers on Facebook. "Our goal is for our system to be the primary platform for small and mid-sized businesses to manage social and digital networking."
Zibaba has raised $1.5 million to date, and has 15 employees.
