Mild February dims chances of full Kinneret

The Kinneret's water level rose another five centimeters over the weekend to 210.48 meters below sea level.

The mild weather in February 2013 has reduced the chances that the Kinneret will fill up this year, despite the exceptionally heavy rains in January. The Kinneret's water level rose another five centimeters over the weekend to 210.48 meters below sea level. The water level is now 1.68 meters below the upper red line, which denotes that the lake is full, and 3.52 meters above the lower red line.

The Kinneret's water level rose by 1.23 meters during January.
