Lev Leviev to appoint daughter as head of AFI USA

Africa-Israel today announced that Tamir Kazaz will step down as CEO AFI USA on May 1.

Africa-Israel Investments Ltd. (TASE:AFIL) today announced that Tamir Kazaz will step down as CEO AFI USA on May 1. Africa-Israel controlling shareholder Lev Leviev is working to appoint his daughter Hagit Leviev-Sofayev as Kazaz's replacement.

Leviev-Sofayev has worked in the economics department of accounting firm Deloitte Brightman Almagor Zohar and as CFO of Leviev's company Memorand. She hasl also served on the board of directors of various public and private companies including Fox-Weizel Ltd. (TASE: FOX) . In the past two years she has been active in the Leviev group in the US.
