Manufacturers Association: Factories were unaffected by the rocket fire from Gaza.
The Manufacturers Association of Israel's Southern Branch said today that operations by factories and enterprises in the area were unaffected by the rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. It said that there was no change in the turnout of employees and that production was not interrupted.
The rocket fire against southern Israel, which began on Wednesday evening, continued this morning, with rockets fired against Ashkelon and Ashdod. The rockets landed in open ground causing no damage or casualties. Israel responded with strikes against targets in the Gaza Strip. This afternoon, Islamic Jihad announced a ceasefire.
