2 Jerusalem historic buildings up for sale

The Misgav Ladach Jerusalem liquidator is selling buildings in Rehavia and Beit Israel.

Misgav Ladach Jerusalem liquidator Doron Shorer has put up for sale two buildings slated for preservation, owned by the NPO in the city's Rehavia and Beit Israel neighborhoods. The sales will be subject to approval by the Jerusalem District Court.

The property in Rehavia is a 630-square meter residential building with two wings. The Urban Building Plan, if approved, allows additional floors and building rights. The property in Beit Israel, at the corner of Zonenfeld Street and Rappaport Street, is in area designated as a special residential area. The building has 155% building rights.

Both buildings are occupied by various tenants, some of whom have rent control. The sale is expected to make tens of millions of shekels for Misgav Ladach's liquidator.

The Misgav Ladach NPO owned a hospital that operated from the mid-19 century until 2001, when it went into liquidation because of financial difficulties. The hospital was best known for its maternity hospital.
