Sticko lets drivers put smartphones on windshields

Sticko has developed a tiny phone mount for attaching a smartphone to a glass surface.

Sticko has developed a tiny phone mount for attaching a smartphone to a glass surface, specifically a car's windshield. The company has raised $52,000 by crowdfunding on Kickstarter, more than four times its target of $15,000.

Sticko has three employees, and began selling its product via Bug. Each unit costs NIS 30, and two are sold for NIS 50.

"We went to Kickstarter at the recommendation of a friend," says Sticko co-founder Boaz Zucker. "We invested no money in marketing. Had we done so, I think we'd have been able to raise ten times more money." He declined to mention how much has been invested in the company, only that it was a small amount from a private investor, and added that the company had revenue.
