Six start-ups with 4G-related activities will be chosen to participate in the Orange 4G Innovation Lab.

Orange franchisee Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) is continuing its start-up incubator initiative. Similar to its first start-up incubator, where the company hosted start-ups and allowed them to try out its 4G infrastructures, Partner is launching a continuation to the project.

Starting today, any start-up or entrepreneur can submit a proposal through a dedicated website in a field related to its 4G technology-based activities, such as smart houses, video, navigation apps, and more. A team of professional judges will select the fifteen leading projects, of which six will be chosen to participate in the Orange 4G Innovation Lab, and will be mentored by the company for twelve weeks.

Partner COO Menahem Tirosh said, “In light of the success of the first start-up incubator, and as part of our desire to continue to advance young start-ups’ and entrepreneurs’ ideas or products in the Israeli industry, we are opening registration for our second Orange 4G Innovation Lab initiative - as Israel’s first communications company that represents the fastest, most advanced 4G network in Israel.”
