Bella Telecom teams with South Africa's Universal Phone Co

The partnership will give Bella access to sub- Saharan markets.

Tel Aviv-based wholesale voice operator Bella Telecom Ltd., owned by Daniel Muszkat and Inbal Vakshi, has formed a new partnership with South African licensed operator Universal Phone Company. The partnership will give Bella access to Sub- Saharan markets, and enable it to grow its footprint in this region.

Bella Telecom provides international wholesale long distance services to large and small carriers around the world through its global VoIP Network. Bella's global infrastructure helps its telecom partners to expand to international markets quickly and efficiently

Universal Phone Company has been operating in the Sub Saharan region for over seven years, and has established extensive operations in countries like Mozambique, Malawi, Lesotho, Botswana, and Zambia. This region is seeing massive growth thanks to increased fiber connectivity, specifically with the completion of the Seacom, WACS, EASSY undersea cable projects. The increased bandwith allows better quality of services, and higher capacity, which has always been the limiting factor in this region.

Bella will benefit by being closer to the source, and will service a European clientele, through its large number of interconnected partners. Bella Telecom was established in 2010. Among its clients are Cellcom, Orange , Tata Communications and others.
