Mobile marketing co Ubimo raises $7.5m

The proceeds will be used to advance the company’s growth and accelerate its self-service platform expansion.

Israeli company Ubimo which has developed a self-service platform for mobile marketing offering real world context targeting , has raised $7.5 million in Series B funding. The proceeds will be used to further advance the company’s growth and customer achievements and accelerate its self-service platform expansion.

The investment was led by Pitango Venture Capital with OurCrowd and YJ Capital participating. This is YJ Capital’s first investment in an Israeli-based startup. Founded in 2013, Ubimo has now raised $9.7 million including this latest financing.

Ubimo enables brands and advertisers to leverage real world context together with the latest programmatic media buying technologies. Ubimo technology goes beyond location data, layering multiple real world signals such as local POI (point of interest) and business data, live weather and local events to build a real understanding of the user's decision moments in real time. Dozens of Fortune 500 brands now benefit from Ubimo’s advanced targeting platform, receiving unprecedented results for their mobile advertising campaigns.
