The leading cab-hailing service in Israel has hired more than 100 new employees as part of its expansion.

More than six months after it announced a rebranding and a horizontal expansion, Gett (formerly GetTaxi) is moving to new offices to make room for its growing workforce. The company will move to an office building near its old headquarters in Tel Aviv’s Ramat Hachayal.

The upgrade will double Gett’s office space from 700 sq. m. to 1,700 sq. m. The company recently recruited some 100 additional employees for its Israel office, spurring the need for the relocation. Gett has some 500 employees overall and it plans to continue expanding its workforce.

The company recently launched two new services for its users ten-minute flower delivery and courier delivery. The new offerings were introduced in select areas in and around Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, Gett maintains its dominance of the cab-hailing market in Israel. In contrast, even a year after launching in Israel, Uber continues to operate only within the Tel Aviv area.
