Sun: Dual-listed cos lead TASE losses

NICE Systems, Mylan, Teva and Perrigo led the market declines today but Opko Health posted a strong gain.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 1.15%, to 1,437.89 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 1.18%, to 1,232.09 points; and the BlueTech Index fell 1.31% to 290.46 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.16%, to 308.45 points. Trading turnover was NIS 532.6 million.

On Friday, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.665% from Thursday's rate at NIS 3.883/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set down 0.547% at NIS 4.31/€.

On the market, NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) fell 3.64% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 index today. Other dual-listed companies also lost ground on arbitrage gaps following Wall Street's big falls on Friday. Mylan N.V. (Nasdaq: MYL; TASE: MYL) fell 2.78%, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 2.40%, and Perrigo Company (NYSE:PRGO; TASE:PRGO) fell 2.63%. Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA; TASE: ORMT) fell 2.45%. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell 0.67% on the day's biggest trading turnover.

Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) rose 4.34% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 0.14% and its energy and exploration units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) rose 1.01% and 0.69% respectively.
