Netivei Israel National Transport Infrastructure Co. Ltd. has announced the opening of the Kadarim Interchange in the Galilee. Israel's road construction company also said that it had inaugurated a three kilometer section of Road 65 as a four lane highway from the national water carrier and the new Kadarim Interchange to the recently opened Nahal Amud Interchange at the norther junction of Road 65 with Road 85. The interchange is the sixth in a series of eight planned interchanges that have opened along the Roads 65/85 route between the Golani Interchange and Ammiad Junction south of Rosh Pina. The cost of the eight interchanges in this 27.5 kilometer stretch of highway is NIS 1.2 billion and the plan is an important part of the Ministry of Transport's project to bring the periphery closer to central Israel.
