Wed: Market again shakes off Brexit blues

NICE Systems, Azrieli and Melisron led the market gains today while Bank Leumi led the declines.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.52% to 1,399.53 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.63% to 1,211.88 points; and the BlueTech Index rose 0.74% to 318.40 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.21% to 319.55 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.12 billion.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.516% from yesterday's rate at NIS 3.858/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set down 0.465% at NIS 4.281/€.

On the market, NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) rose 4.12% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Melisron Ltd. (TASE: MLSR) rose 2.18% and Azrieli Group Ltd. (TASE: AZRG) rose 2.85%. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) rose 1.84% and Perrigo Company (NYSE:PRGO; TASE:PRGO) rose 1.15%. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 0.17% on the day's biggest turnover.

Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 0.08% but its energy exploration and production units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) fell 1.46% and 1.29% respectively.

Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) fell 1.87% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Israel Chemicals (TASE: ICL: NYSE: ICL) fell 1.38% and parent company Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) fell 1.20%.
