Wed: Mylan leads market down

Mylan and NICE Systems had the biggest declines on the Tel Aviv 25 Index, Delek and Strauss the biggest gains.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.20% to 1,458.58 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.12% to 1,273.91 points; but the BlueTech Index rose 0.14% to 343.00 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.01% to 323.50 points. Trading turnover was NIS 972.6 million.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.104% from yesterday's rate at NIS 3.84/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set down 0.168% at NIS 4.222/€.

On the market, Mylan N.V. (Nasdaq: MYL; TASE: MYL) fell 1.75% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Israel Discount Bank (TASE: DSCT) fell 1.38% and Paz Oil Company Ltd. (TASE:PZOL) fell 1.47%. NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) fell 1.48%.

Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 0.61% and its energy and exploration units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) rose 0.55% and 1.07%, respectively. The latter was the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index today.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 0.43% on the day's biggest trading turnover and Strauss Group Ltd. (TASE:STRS) fell 0.67%.
