The international Real Estate investment fund wants to help Weintraub climb back into the rankings of the world's top 200 tennis players.

BlueRock Real Estate Investment Fund is to sponsor Israeli tennis player Amir Weintraub.

Weintraub, is the second highest ranked Israeli tennis player after Dudi Sela and represents the country in the Davis Cup. At the end of October he will line up for Israel when it hosts Sweden in a vital Davis Cup Europe/Africa Zone A relegation play-off.

Weintraub is currently ranked 260 in the ATP rankings having slipped 32 places over the past week and well off his career high ranking of 161 in 2012. He turned 30 earlier this month and has career prize money earnings of $430,000.

BlueRock is a closed Investment Fund established about three years ago, attracting investment from investment managers around the world. The minimal entry threshold in the field of commercial real estate stands at €250,000. Every investor in the Fund receives a quarterly report setting out the essential details on the status and yield of their investment. The Fund is divided into secondary funds or cells, which are totally independent of one another, with each cell investing in a distinct property that has no connection to investments made by any of the other cells. Investors anywhere in the world are able to purchase ownership units in properties in the Fund via a bank account.

Weintraub said, "I want to thank BlueRock for their interest and support. The sponsorship funds will help me compete in several tournaments during the year and I hope to achieve impressive results and move further up in the world ranking." BlueRock Fund managing partner Ronny Pifko said, "We have set ourselves a goal of supporting Israeli sport alongside our commercial activity. We are proud to award this sponsorship to Amir Weintraub as we believe that supporting Israeli sport is a noble cause, and a good way to thank our many clients in Israel for the trust they have placed in us."
