Mon: Partner soars on flat TASE

Partner rose strongly on its financials while Bezeq and Elbit systems lost ground.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange was mixed today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index fell 0.06% to 1,421.59 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.40%, to 1,297.33 points; and the BlueTech Global Index rose 1.30% to 378.15 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.01% to 334.32 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.23 billion.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.306% from Friday's rate at NIS 3.582/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set up 0.592% at NIS 4.025/€.

On the market, Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) rose 5.41% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index after publishing strong financials. Oil Refineries Ltd. (TASE:ORL) rose 2.71%, Airport City Ltd. (TASE:ARPT) rose 2.69% and Frutarom Industries Ltd. (TASE: FRUT; LSE:FRUT; OTCBB:FRUTF) rose 2.18%.

Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) fell 2.31% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell 1.22% and Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) fell 1.29%. Sodastream International Ltd. (Nasdaq: SODA)(TASE: SODA) fell 1.51%.

Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) fell 0.52% on the day's biggest trading turnover and Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) fell 0.94%.
