Patrick Drahi is transforming his global holding company into a unified international brand.

Israeli telco group HOT Telecommunication Systems Ltd. (TASE: HOT) is rebranding as Altice in the name of its parent company owned by Patrick Drahi.

The rebranding will take place gradually but will be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2018.

Altice CEO Michel Combes said, “We are transforming from a holding company with a collection of different assets and brands around the world, to one unified global group with one single brand."

Moroccan-born Drahi has French and Israeli citizenship and lives in Switzerland. Altice has worldwide communications interests and is traded on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange with a market cap of $28 billion.
