Thu: Bezeq slips further, Kamada crashes

The main indices fell today, with Bezeq and Kamada the most notable decliners, but the Tel Aviv 35 still ended the week 1% ahead.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index fell 0.08%, to 1,438.22 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index fell 0.32%, to 1,292.38 points; and the BlueTech Global Index fell 0.76%, to 367.23 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.01%, to 333.23 points. Turnover totaled NIS 1.12 billion.

The Tel Aviv Index rose 1.0% over the past week. The index is down 2.2% for the year today.

On the foreign exchange market, the representative shekel-dollar rate was flat, at NIS 3.5430/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set 0.13% higher, at NIS 3.9553/€.

Frutarom led trading today, and fell 0.08%. Troubled Bezeq fell a further 2.08% and its parent company B Communications 4.38%. Teva rose 0.90%; Bank Hapoalim fell 0.58%; and Gazit Globes fell 0.58%. Among notable advancers today was Tower Semiconductor, which rose 2.80%. Kamada, which reported that it was withdrawing its request to the European Medicines Agency for marketing approval for its emphysema treatment, crashed by 23.44%.
