Sun: TASE rises as Bezeq continues to plunge

Bezeq fell sharply while Teva rose by more than 2%.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.27% to 1,442.12 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.35% to 1,296.91 points; the BlueTech Global Index rose 1.17% to 371.52 points and the TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.03% to 333.32 points. Trading turnover was NIS 672.9 million.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.056% at NIS 3.541/$ on Friday and set the shekel-euro rate up 0.030% at 3.939/€.

On the market, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell a further 3.93% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index on the day's largest trading turnover as the ISA investigation continues. Isramco Ltd. (Nasdaq: ISRL; TASE: ISRA.L) fell 1.68%, Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) fell 1.33% and Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) fell 0.74%.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) rose 2.22% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index. Mylan N.V. (Nasdaq: MYL; TASE: MYL) rose 1.24% and Frutarom Industries Ltd. (TASE: FRUT; LSE:FRUT; OTCBB:FRUTF) rose 1.06% after announcing another acquisition. Azrieli Group Ltd. (TASE: AZRG) rose 1.48% and Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services Ltd. (TASE: HARL) rose 1.84%.
