Tue: TASE advances

Opko and Harel were the biggest gainers today on the Tel Aviv 35 Index while Partner posted the biggest fall.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.14% to 1,533.68 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.23% to 1,397.69 points; and the BlueTech Global Index rose 0.69% to 390.70 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.14% to 348.59 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.32 billion.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate up 0.029% from yesterday's exchange rate at NIS 3.422/$ and set the shekel-euro rate down 0.033% at 4.189/€.

On the market, Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) rose 4.99% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services Ltd. (TASE: HARL) rose 2.44%, Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (Nasdaq: TSEM; TASE: TSEM) rose 1.21% and Shufersal Ltd. (TASE:SAE) rose 1.44%. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) rose 0.01% on the day's biggest trading turnover.

Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) fell 2.31% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) fell 1.26% and Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL) fell 0.83%.
