Teva and Mazor led the declines today while Bank Leumi led the gains.
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index fell 0.26% to 1,576.31 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index fell 0.12% to 1,411.72 points; but the BlueTech Global Index rose 0.07% to 372.55 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.11% to 348.50 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.01 billion.
On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.485% at NIS 3.691/$ from yesterday's rate and set the shekel-euro rate down 0.260% at 4.214/€.
On the market, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 3% and Mazor Robotics Ltd. (TASE:MZOR) fell 4.08% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) fell 2.66% and Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR) fell 2.25%. LivePerson Inc. (Nasdaq: LPSN); TASE: LPSN) fell 1.83% and Fattal Holdings (1998) Ltd. (TASE:FTAL) fell 2.1%.
Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) rose 2.02% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today on the day's biggest trading turnover. Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) rose 1.32%.
