20 Israelis in Tehran emergency landing

Turkish Airlines flight to Mumbai landed in Tehran, after a passenger had a heart attack.

At least 20 Israelis flying to India on Monday unexpectedly found that the plane they were on was making an emergency landing at Tehran Airport, after a passenger suffered a heart attack. The Turkish Airlines flight was en route from Istanbul to Mumbai.

During the flight, a passenger suffered a heart attack and required medical treatment on the ground. Under the circumstances, the pilot decided to make an unscheduled landing in Iran. There were at least 20 Israelis on board.

The tense incident ended without any drama when the plane continued its flight to India, after the passenger, who was not Israeli, was treated.

The Israeli passengers naturally rushed to update their Facebook pages about the emergency landing.
