Until now, Sonol has sold Dead Sea Works only crude oil, while Paz Oil Company supplied most of the company's diesel needs.
Sonol has won a Dead Sea Works tender to supply $300 million worth of fuel and crude oil over five years, with an option to extend. Sonol will supply 250,000 tons of crude oil, seven million liters of diesel and 150,000 liters of 95 octane gasoline a year.
Until now, Sonol has sold Dead Sea Works only crude oil, while Paz Oil Company supplied most of the company's diesel needs. Sonol has now won the entire contract.
Dead Sea Works will use the fuel and crude oil for its power station and company vehicles.
