There is no cease-fire. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the IDF to return to action and hit Gaza targets hard. The Israeli security cabinet had earlier agreed to a cease-fire from 9 am brokered by the Egyptian government but after Hamas continued to fire heavy barrages of rockets throughout Israel, Netanyahu consulted with Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon and decided that the IDF would respond. At midday, Netanyahu had held a press conference and said, "If Hamas does not accept the cease-fire proposal, as it seems at the moment, then Israel will have all the international legitimacy to expand the campaign to achieve the quiet that we require."
