The Consumer Price Index has risen 0.5% over the past 12 months.
Israel's Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.3% in June the Central Bureau of Statistics reported this evening. The reading was slightly higher than analysts' estimates of 0.2%. The CPI rose 0.1% in May and has risen 0.5% over the past 12 months below the government's 1-3% inflation target range.
There were notable rises in prices of and clothing and footwear (10%) and housing costs (0.3%).
The notable falls were in prices of fresh fruit (8.5%), fresh vegetables (1.4%), and food (0.3%).
