VP trade and aviation relations David Maimon will succeed Elyezer Shkedy on March 20.
El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. (TASE: ELAL) today announced that its board of directors has appointed VP trade and aviation relations David Maimon as CEO to succeed Elyezer Shkedy. He will take up his new post on March 20.
Maimon's salary terms as CEO have not yet been agreed.
Maimon has held various positions at El Al since joining the airline in 2005. He is a colonel (res.) in the IDF, where his last command was the induction center. He retired from the IDF in 2000. He has a BA in Sociology from Bar Ilan University and an MBA from Derby University.
