Regardless of any plans to sell his company, Michael Golan is continuing business as usual. Golan Telecom Ltd. is still dragging down cellular services prices and threatening the veteran companies.
In pursuance of Golan Telecom's announcement last week that it was launching a new plan, the company today published its full details of a limited bargain called "Summer 10 for 10," in which it is offering calls, text messages, international calls to 56 destinations, and 10 gigabyte Internet surfing volume at an unprecedented price for a second line and up to five lines (a total of six lines): only NIS 10 each a month for a year.
The bargain of a second line for NIS 10 a month is valid for both new and current customers having either the NIS 59 package or the NIS 99 package. The bargain will begin today, and continue until September 2 at noon.
The SIM card can be operated until September 7. After a year, each line reverts to a price of NIS 99 for a cellular package.
