The workers committee says it is protesting unilateral measures by management and the violation of agreements.

Israel Railways workers committee will begin striking on Sunday. The workers committee claims that the strike is due to unilateral actions and the violation of agreements by the company's management. The strike follows the previous declaration of a work dispute.

The workers committee said, "We call on management to immediately freeze their unilateral measures and begin talks to prevent a strike."

Israel Railways said, "We regret the irresponsible conduct of the workers committee at the expense of Israel's general public. All the repeated attempts by management for dialogue with the workers committee have been refused and meeting that were fixed were then postponed by the workers committee. We regret that the works committee is not prepared to talk, make decisions and show leadership. The workers committee has been given attractive offers but internal disagreements have prevented them from making a decision."
