The 160-room Publica will be in the heart of Herzliya Pituach's high-tech industrial zone.

Isrotel is coming to Herzliya: the company entered an equal partnership with contractor Reuven Ella for a property on which a hotel is being built, with the chain to also manage the future hotel.

The Publica will house 160 rooms in 5 floors on Galgalei HaPlada Street 2 in the heart of Herzliya Pituach high-tech industrial zone. The agreement sets a 10-year leasing period with an option for two 5-year extentions.

Isrotel CEO Lior Raviv said the hotel will operate on a platform that provides guests “a social and business experience based on a club of 1,000 members, which will include a large, stylish on-site gym. The concept has been implemented in cities around the world ‘one of us’ and its aim is to offer guests, specifically those who travel alone on business, a social sphere at the hotel: at the gym, at the rooftop pool, at the bar, in the conference rooms, and the adjacent restaurant.”

The hotel will be designed by Dana Oberson in an urban-modern motif. As to the expected nightly rates, Raviv said: “They will fall in line with the area. The accommodations will be four-stars but the hotel provides added value to its guests. It’s a unique concept for a hotel, and there is nothing like it in Israel.”

Isrotel currently holds 17 hotels, with Publica set to be its 18 th property. The company continues to pick up momentum, having recently agreed to buy Mizpe Hayamim for NIS 120 million; it is also expected to soon open the Orient in Jerusalem and another hotel in Little Tel Aviv.

The company also bought 50% of the Shekem building in a popular Yafo neighborhood a historical structure which it will transform into a boutique hotel.
