Shares of Israel-based Jobookit Holdings, which develops technologies to connect between job seekers and employers, soared 60% on Sunday. Jobookit chairman is former IDF Chief of Staff Dan Halutz.

The firm reported that Viumbe LLC, a fully-owned US-based subsidiary, signed a sponsored content deal with Yahoo.

The agreement includes generating desktop traffic for Yahoo's businesses, integrated experiential marketing for mobile systems, and other Mobile Web efforts.

The deal signed with Yahoo will apply to Ebaumsworld.com and the iOS application that the multimedia giant created for Apple devices.

Sources at Jobookit note that the deal was a strategic agreement that will have a positive effect on its bottom line.

The primary source of income for the firm is Ebaumsworld, which is considered to be one of the three largest entertainment websites in the world with 350 million entries and some 4.6 billion pageviews annually.

Ebaumsworld generates its content from its users and aggregates stories on other topics. The site has considerable clout on search engines and a massive presence in social media. Its core audience is relatively young (18-34) and is mostly American, Canadian, and British.
