LANDESK acquires LetMobile for $20m

The US software company is also setting up an Israel R&D innovation center.

US software company LANDESK has acquired LetMobile, the Tel Aviv based company which has developed a secure mobile e-gateway. No financial details were disclosed but media reports said that the acquisition was for $20 million.

LANDESK said that following the acquisition it is establishing an Israel R&D innovation center. It added, LANDESK plans to leverage the LetMobile team to establish and grow an innovation center in Israel that will continue to develop new and innovative technology to bring to market.

LetMobile CEO Dror Todress said, “The LANDESK and LetMobile visions for enterprise mobility management are well-aligned. We are excited to join LANDESK in furthering this vision and extending our reach to enterprises around the world.”

LANDESK added that LetMobile delivers a new paradigm for securing email, content, and apps.
