Mobile analytics co Appsee raises $2m

Appsee will expand R&D, roll-out more iOS features, and introduce an Android version.

Israeli mobile analytics platform developer Appsee has completed a $2 million financing round. Participating in the round are existing investors Giza Venture Capital, and Moshe Lichtman, as well as new investor Flint Capital. This round of funding follows a $1 million seed round that was completed in October 2013.

Appsee, which enables companies to measure and optimize the user experience in their apps, will use the funding to expand R&D efforts, roll-out additional features on its iOS analytics platform, and introduce an Android version of the technology.

Appsee Co-Founder and CEO Zahi Boussiba said, “Appsee’s goal is to provide our app publishers with the critical insights needed to not only improve the user experience, but also to increase engagement, retention and in-app monetization. This funding will allow us to continue strengthening our product and expand our global reach in strategic markets, while continuing to service our thousands of customers around the world.”

Appsee's clients include British Gas, MySupermarket, Hudl and 365Scores.
