Israeli business software solutions company NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) today reported higher revenue and profit for the fourth quarter of 2015 and full year.
Revenue in the fourth quarter was $274 million up 5% from the corresponding quarter of 2014. Non-GAAP net profit was $66.9 million, up from $58.9 million in the corresponding quarter and earnings per share was up 12.4% to $1.09, from $0.97 for the fourth quarter of 2014.
Full year revenue in 2015 was $927 million, up 6% from 2014. Full year non-GAAP net profit was $195 million, up from $165 million in 2014 and full year earnings per share increased to $3.18, up 16.9% from $2.72 for the full year 2014.
NICE CEO Barak Eilam said, “We are pleased to report a strong finish to the year. Excluding foreign currency exchange rates, revenues grew 8.3% for the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to the same period in 2014. In addition, we reported 12% growth in earnings per share, which was supported by a record 29.7% operating margin.”
He added, Ending 2015 as we did, encapsulates what I believe can be characterized as a truly transformative year for NICE. It was a year in which we managed significant and valuable changes to the business while delivering solid results. The fundamental changes that we made will continue to benefit NICE for the long term and are part of a broader journey that we expect will have a long-lasting, positive impact on the company both operationally and financially. As we look forward into 2016, I believe that we are well-positioned for further growth and profitability as we move ahead with our vision and strategic plan in place.”
The Ra'anana based company declared a cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2015 of $0.16 per share. The record date will be February 24 2016 and the payment date will be March 9 2016. Tax will be withheld at a rate of 15%.
