Nochi Dankner is reportedly looking for investments in hotels, real estate, and mining.

Former IDB Holding Corp. Ltd. (TASE:IDBH) controlling shareholder Nochi Dankner is currently visiting Panama and Mexico in search of investments for a group of foreign investors, according to a report in "Yediot Ahronot."

It was reported that Dankner was looking for investments in hotels, real estate, and gold and copper mining. Dankner's trip to the US on the way to Central America recently drew criticism after he was observed flying first class at a time when he owed NIS 500 million to the banks.

The article also said that mineral deposits in Panama were worth an estimated $200 billion, and that mining business had shot up 25% last year.

A source close to Dankner said that he was focusing on business activity, which was also the reason why he had refused a high-salaried position at Chinese companies operating in Israel.
