Guttman is the first Israeli to be general manager of Procter & Gamble Israel.
Ophir Guttman has been appointed general manager of Procter & Gamble Israel. The company has been active in Israel since 2001, but up until now has had only foreign managers, the most recent of whom was Elena Kudryashova, the general manager for the past four years.
Guttman, 41, has been marketing and commercial operations director at Procter & Gamble Israel for the past four years, after having served as marketing director household care, brand operations, and trade marketing at Procter & Gamble South Africa.
Procter & Gamble has a range of products, including Pampers diapers, Ariel laundry detergent, Pantene and Head and Shoulders shampoo, Gilette, Oral B, and Always. The company has 70 branches around the world.
