SafeBreach allows security teams to safely validate their security controls using breach and attack simulation technologies.

Israeli breach and attack simulations developer SafeBreach has been named a Cool Vendor in the “Cool Vendors in Monitoring and Management of Threats to Applications and Data 2017” report by the world’s leading research and advisory firm Gartner, Inc.

SafeBreach allows security teams to safely validate their security controls using breach and attack simulation technologies based on thousands of actual attacks. Unlike point-in-time approaches like penetration testing or red team engagements, SafeBreach validates security controls continuously using comprehensive hacker breach methods without risks to users, data or systems. Security teams can discover and mitigate security gaps across their network, in the cloud, or on their endpoints. SafeBreach correlates and analyzes the results of each breach scenario, provides visualization and detailed kill-chain analysis, and recommends proactive remediation steps to improve the security posture of the environment, and get the most out of existing security controls.

According to the Gartner report, “Simulating attacks and activities resulting from a breach can highlight gaps in the security posture, prioritize new investments, but also verify that existing security controls work as expected.”

“We are honored to be named a Gartner Cool Vendor, and see this as further validation of our pioneering efforts in the Breach and Attack Simulation Technologies market,” said Guy Bejerano, CEO & co-founder, SafeBreach. “Gartner has echoed the sentiments that we have heard from our many enterprise customers, including those in the global Fortune 100. By taking advantage of the insights provided via breach and attack simulations, our customers have been able to quantify risks, reduce their exposure time and deliver better ROI for their security investments.”

The SafeBreach Hacker’s PlaybookTM of breach methods is updated by SafeBreach Labs, an elite team of offensive security researchers. The playbook today incorporates thousands of breach methods including techniques from the latest attacks such as WannaCry, Loki2 and RedLeaves. Security teams can see a demo of the SafeBreach platform at Booth #400 in the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit June 12-15, 2017 in National Harbor, Maryland.
