Silicon Dragon to hold Israel-China business conference

Silicon Dragon Group and Tadmor & Co. Yuval Levy & Co. law firm are holding the conference in Tel Aviv on December 2.

Israel has long been a desirable target for Chinese investors. Cooperation between the countries in startups and technology companies has often led to technological breakthroughs and the development of the next generation of leading entrepreneurs. In light of this, Tadmor & Co. Yuval Levy & Co. law firm, in cooperation with the Silicon Dragon Group, will be holding a conference dealing with the implications of the developing ties between the countries. The program will examine cooperation between Israel and important centers in China - Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

The Silicon Dragon group is involved with investment trends in technology centers throughout the world, and is well-known for the conferences it organizes on the subjects of technology and investments in Asia, the US and Europe. The group was established in 2010 by Rebecca A. Fannin, a media entrepreneur and an expert on innovation. She has published two critically-acclaimed books on the subject of start-up companies, which have been translated into Chinese, Vietnamese and Hebrew, and which received favorable reviews in leading newspapers.

In addition to being the CEO of the group, Fannin serves as a reporter for Forbes Magazine, for which she writes a weekly column on technology, start-ups and investments. In the course of Fannin's journalistic career, she has served as an editor of the Pulitzer Prize winning International Business Magazine in New York.

Tadmor &Co. Yuval Levy & Co. is considered to be one of the leading Israeli law firms with a physical presence in China.

The conference will be held in the IBM Innovation Center in Tel Aviv. IBM operates more than 40 innovation centers throughout the world with the objective of training and assisting business managers and entrepreneurs in connection with marketing and sale of business solutions. The Tel Aviv Center offers expertise in the areas of telecommunications, retailing and financial services.

Some 150 guests will participate in the conference - including venture capital investors, technology entrepreneurs and senior business leaders who maintain productive work contacts with China. These participants include William Bao Bean from China Accelerator, John Medved from OurCrowd, Aaron Mankovski from Pitango, Ehud Levy from Keinan Partners Israel, Giora Dishon from Utilight, Zvi Shalgo from China Synergy, Oded Salomy from Visa Europe Collab, Howard Krongard, Former Inspector General, US Department of State and VC investor, Zohar Gendler from NGT-3 and others.
