TA 25 makes it a positive week

After falling 5.8% last week, the Tel Aviv 25 Index regained some ground this week, given a lift today by a strong rise by Teva.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.87%, to 1,606.26 points, and the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.63%, to points. The BlueTech Index fell 0.07%, to 341.44 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.06%, to 315.27 points. Turnover totaled NIS 1.11 billion.

The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.6% for the week, after falling 5.8% last week. The index is up 9.6% for the year to date.

On the foreign exchange market, the representative shekel-dollar rate was set 0.10% higher, at NIS 3.9340/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set 0.24% lower, at NIS 4.4160/€.

The top five stocks were mixed today. Teva led trading, and rose 2.91%. It was followed by Nice Systems, which fell 2.39%, and IDI Insurance, which fell 3.66%. Bezeq rose 0.68% and ICL rose 2.78%.

Opko Health was today's strongest advancer among the blue chips, by 3.3%. Blue Square Israel rose 3.14%, and Paz rose 2.52%. Rami Levy fell 3.34%.
