Thu: Tel Aviv 25 Index down 2.2% for week

Migdal and Leumi fell sharply after reporting their financials.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.58% to 1,677.03 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.54% to 1,453.31.05 points, but the BlueTech 50 Index rose 0.20% to 371.56 points. Turnover was NIS 3.44 billion a huge turnover due to expiring options and an MSCI update.

The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 2.2% for the week and has risen 14.5% since the beginning of 2015.

In the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate up 0.129% from yesterday's rate at NIS 3.88/$, and set the shekel-euro representative exchange rate at NIS 4.241/€, up 0.610%.

In the bond market, the corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index was unchanged..

In the stock market, Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MGDL) fell 4.16% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index following publication of its financials and Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) fell 1.75% also after publishing its results.

Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) was down 2.02% and its energy units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling Limited Partnership (TASE: DEDR.L) fell 1.61% and 1.94% respectively. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell 0.92%.

First International Bank of Israel (TASE: FTIN) rose 1.39% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) rose 1% and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) rose 0.38% on the day's biggest trading turnover.
