Thu: TA-25 Index down 2.4% on week, down 8.6% in H1

Frutarom and Delek led the declines as the marked edged down despite Bezeq's strong gains.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.11% to 1,397.95 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.06% to 1,211.21 points; and the BlueTech Index fell 0.13% to 318.00 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.20% to 320.20 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.71 billion. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 2.4% on the week after rising 1.7% last week and is down 8.6% since the start of the year.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate down 0.311% from yesterday's rate at NIS 3.846/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set up 0.065% at NIS 4.284/€.

On the market, Frutarom Industries Ltd. (TASE: FRUT; LSE:FRUT; OTCBB:FRUTF) fell 2.15% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) fell 1.75% and its energy exploration and production units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) fell 0.72% and 0.52% respectively.

First International Bank of Israel (TASE: FTIN) fell 1.85% and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 0.21% on thje day's biggest trading turnover. Israel Corporation (TASE: ILCO) fell 1.69%.

Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) fell 0.59% but Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) rose 0.73%.

Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 2.44% on the day's biggest trading turnover and Azrieli Group Ltd. (TASE: AZRG) rose 0.80%.
