Tue: Delek down on depressed TASE

Delek and Mylan led the losses on the TASE today with Israel Chemicals among few stocks in the green.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange fell today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index fell 0.98% to 1,447.26 points; the Tel Aviv 100 Index fell 0.86% to 1,264.67 points; and the BlueTech Index fell 0.33% to 343.37 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.31% to 322.04 points. Trading turnover was NIS 876.5 million.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate up 0.236% from yesterday's rate at NIS 3.815/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set up 0.525% at NIS 4.271/€.

On the market, very few companies rose today on the Tel Aviv 25 Index. Israel Chemicals (TASE: ICL: NYSE: ICL) rose 0.20%, Melisron Ltd. (TASE: MLSR) rose 0.30% and Ormat Technologies Inc. (NYSE: ORA; TASE: ORa) rose 0.35% for the largest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 Index.

Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) fell 3.43% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index and its energy exploration and production units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling LP (TASE: DEDR.L) fell 1.53% and 1.83% respectively.

Mylan N.V. (Nasdaq: MYL; TASE: MYL) fell 2.01% and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) fell 0.69% on the day's biggest trading turnover. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) fell 1.64%.

Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) fell 1.71% and Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) fell 1.66%.
