The Opel Astra model price has been cut by NIS 8,000 to NIS 123,990.
The plunging euro and intense competition are continuing to affect the Israeli car market. Opel announced that it was cutting the prices for the Hatchback, sedan, and Sport Tourer versions of its Astra model by NIS 8,000 to NIS 123,990. The cars also come with multimedia systems and rear cameras worth thousands of shekels as standard equipment.
Opel is currently calling its new price "a one-time bargain for Election Day," but auto sector sources believe that if the euro remains at its current level, price cuts will continue, and perhaps even become a new pricing policy.
