Wed: Tel Aviv 25 up 0.8% for week

Isramco, Delek and its energy units rose today. The market will be closed Thursday for the Purim holiday.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.21% to 1,529.78 points, the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.11% to 1,356.85 points, but the BlueTech 50 Index fell 0.19% to 374.30 points. Turnover was NIS 1.2 billion.

The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.8% on a short trading week. The market is closed tomorrow for the Purim holiday.

In the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at NIS 3.984/$, down 0.075% on yesterday's rate, and set the shekel-euro representative exchange rate at NIS 4.74/€, down 0.474%.

In the bond market, the corporate bond benchmark Tel-Bond 20 Index fell 0.04%.

In the stock market, Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) rose 1.65% and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ) rose 1.68%. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NYSE: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) rose 0.09% on the day's largest trading turnover.

Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) rose 0.39% and its gas exploration and production units Avner Oil and Gas LP (TASE: AVNR.L) and Delek Drilling Limited Partnership (TASE: DEDR.L) rose 0.76% and 1.98% respectively, the latter the largest rise on the Tel Aviv 25 index. Isramco Ltd. (Nasdaq: ISRL; TASE: ISRA.L) rose 1.67%.

Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) fell 1.86% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 25 Index.
